About Me

Hello! Thank you for your interest in therapy services, I am a long-time Asheville Resident. I completed my undergraduate in psychology and philosophy at UNCA and completed my Master’s degree at WCU. Beyond being a licensed clinical mental health therapist (LCMHC), I am also I also am a certified Licensed clinical addiction specialist (LCAS) and I completed the 3 year certification process making me a Somatic Experiencing Practioner (SEP - https://directory.traumahealing.org/practitioner/benjamin-miller/). Throughout my life I have known that I am people focused and I have had the ongoing desire to serve human beings to the best of my ability. Gratefully, I have been able to channel this passion into my role as a therapist. I utilize my life experience, my trainings, my open-mindedness, and my nonjudgemental spaciousness to really be present with my clients.

Currently, I am a full-time therapist at MAHEC in the Asheville area. Therefor I only have limited availability in the early morning or in the later afternoons / early evenings for sessions. Currently, these sessions are only available for telehealth.
